What We Offer

Tuwila Yara offers a safe and culturally respectful space for Young Aboriginal fellas to:

  • Talk about what’s going on in their lives.

  • Learn ways to manage emotions and stress.

  • Build stronger, healthier relationships.

  • Understand the impacts of violence — and how to choose a different path.

  • Reconnect with culture, strength, and identity.

Eligibility

Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander males aged 12 - 18 years, who have displayed violent behaviour or are at risk of engaging in violent behaviours.

Get Started

  • Referrals to the program can come from government departments, youth and community centres, non-government organisations, family, community, self-referral and internally through KWY.
