FAQ AND EVENT INFORMATION

Design

This year’s design honours the Kaurna people’s connection to the Karrawirra Pari (River Torrens) as a place of gathering and exchange. Abstract shapes trace the river’s topography, while dotted linework symbolises paths travelled across Country. A palette inspired by saltbush, earth, ochre and rock grounds the design, creating a calm, reflective space that invites collaboration, innovation and new ways of thinking.

Summit Registration

Early Bird Sales

Tickets are on sale now with early bird pricing of $1,119 + GST. Early bird sales end 31 October or earlier if the allocation sells out.

Group Discounts

Groups of 5 or more can receive 5% off. To access this discount, please email summit@kwy.org
before registering online.

What is included in the ticket price?

Your ticket gives you access to all 3 days of the Summit, including:

Catering
Keynote sessions
Workshops
Welcome Function
Wellbeing room access
Goodie bag
And more

Are day passes available?

No. The Summit is designed as a 3-day learning journey, so tickets are only sold as a full event pass.

Is the Welcome Function included in my registration?

Yes. The Welcome Function is included in your Summit ticket. You’ll be asked to RSVP when purchasing tickets so we can confirm catering numbers.

Is the FOCUS Awards included in my registration?

No. The FOCUS Awards are a separate event. Tickets must be purchased separately.

Can I change the name on my ticket?

Yes. Name changes are accepted up until 18 February (one month prior to the event). Please email changes to summit@kwy.org.au

Welcome Function

The Welcome Function is included in your Summit ticket and will be held on the evening of Wednesday, 18 March 2026.

Celebrate culture, connection and creativity with:

Vibrant market stalls featuring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander makers
Live entertainment
Locally inspired food and drinks

You will be asked to RSVP during Summit registration to assist with catering arrangements.

FOCUS Awards

Ticket Sales

Tickets can be purchased individually for $190 + GST or as a table of 10 for $1,800 + GST. Each ticket includes:

A three-course meal
Premium drinks package
Live entertainment

Please note: Tickets to the FOCUS Awards are not included in your Summit registration and must be purchased separately.

When is the event?

The FOCUS Awards will be held on Friday, 20 March 2026, at the Adelaide Oval from 6:00pm – 11:30pm.

Award nominations will open later this year — stay tuned for updates.

Dress Code:

Abstract Applications

Submitting an Application:

Please download the application form here to view all details about the abstract application process, including, themes, selection criteria and submission process.

Key Dates

Submissions open now and will close on 31 October.

Successful applicants will be notified in November.

Presentation Details

Successful applicants will present their work in person on Thursday, 19 March 2026 at the Adelaide Oval.

Pay-It-Forward Tickets

What are Pay-It-Forward Tickets?
Pay-It-Forward tickets support Aboriginal Community Members and Aboriginal Not-for-Profits who may face financial barriers to attend the Summit.

How are they funded?
KWY has sponsored $10,000 worth of registrations, and organisations or individuals can also purchase Pay-It-Forward tickets via the Sponsorship platform. Sponsors will be acknowledged on the website and at the Summit.

How do I apply?
Email summit@kwy.org.au with your reasons for applying. Applications close 12 December, with responses provided by that date. If more tickets become available later, applications will reopen.

Do tickets cover travel?
No, travel costs must be covered by the attendee.

General Event Information

Accessibility and Inclusion

The Adelaide Oval is a wheelchair-friendly venue. If you require specific access arrangements, please contact us and we will do everything we can to ensure your needs are met throughout the Summit.

Catering & Dietary Requirements

The Summit is fully catered across all three days.

Dietary requirements must be submitted at least 14 days in advance.

Photography & Filming

For promotional purposes, photos and video recordings will be taken during the event. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform a KWY staff member at the registration desk. You will be given a red sticker to wear, which signals to our photographers not to include you in images or videos.

Parking

There are two car parks available at Adelaide Oval:

Wilson North Car Park
Entry via Pennington Terrace, North Adelaide. Enter through the Bob Quinn Gate and follow directional signage to the function room
Wilson East Car Park
Entry via King William Road. Take the lifts to Level 1, enter via the South Gate, and follow directional signage to the function room.

Parking tickets can be validated with Oval function staff for $20.00 per day.
