About the Project
The Wilto Willo Research Team at KWY Aboriginal Corporation is working to reduce the over-representation of Aboriginal children in Out-of-Home Care.
Through yarning and storytelling, we centre community voices to understand lived experiences and develop culturally responsive, healing-centred supports. This project amplifies Aboriginal voices, strengthens services, and supports community-led solutions to keep children safe, connected, and thriving.
We have gained ethics approval via the Aboriginal Health Research Ethics Committee. AHREC Protocol: # 04-25-1216.
Our Commitment
The Wilto Willo Research Team is committed to:
-
Respecting cultural knowledge and lived experience
-
Creating safe and supportive spaces
-
Ensuring community voices guide future change
Together, we can strengthen families, support children, and communities.
