What We Offer
KWY’s Aboriginal Youth Workers provide support to Aboriginal young people through case management and group work to address school retention, at risk behaviours and disconnection from kin, culture and community.
Support can include:

Social emotional wellbeing

School absenteeism

Addressing antisocial behaviours

Education and employment pathways
-
Connections to sporting and extracurricular interests

Connections to group activities
-
Connection to kin and peers
-
Connection to other relevant support services as identified

Eligibility
-
Aboriginal young people aged 10 to 18 years old.

Referrals to the program can come from government departments, non-government organisations, family, community, self-referral and internally through KWY.
