About the event

KWY in partnership with fellow Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations SNAICC, AbSec, QATSICPP and VACCA have developed a national training and development package on Cultural Responsiveness & Trauma Informed Practice.

Funded by The Department of Social Services, the partnership is working together in solidarity to build the cultural responsiveness of services across Australia, who receive DSS funding for working with children and families and addressing Closing the Gap Targets. 

Throughout the training you will be taken on a journey across the WaterWays and cover topics identified through the acronym for Weaving, Anti-racism, Trauma-Informed, Education, Responsiveness, With Wisdom, Awareness, Yarning, and Solidarity.
