About the event
KWY in partnership with Adelaide PHN is offering Culturally Responsive and Trauma Informed Suicide Prevention Training.
Participants can expect:
Improved practitioner capacity to identify and respond to suicidal distress and social determinants that can lead to suicidal distress.
Improved practitioner confidence in culturally responsive and compassionate care and narrative-based approaches to supportive conversations abouts suicidal thoughts and behaviours.
Reduced stigma and shame and increased supports for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities experiencing suicidal thoughts and behaviour.
