Mankurri-apinthi
‘Bring Together’ Peer to Peer Program
What we offer
Mankurri-apinthi offers peer-to-peer group support aimed to improve people’s wellbeing, create larger support networks, improve knowledge, and enhance self-esteem and confidence. This program is run with the Australian Centre for Social Innovation.
We believe the sharing of culture, lived experience and knowledge happens organically when mob meet.
We’re a support network, run by community.
We empower peer volunteers and families to come together and make choices about what they want to learn and do.
Community Led Groups:
-
Each group has a minimum of 1 peer volunteer who is supported by KWY
-
Each group has up to 6 peers working towards goals that meet weekly
-
