
In partnership with First Nations Healing, KWY is delivering the Stronger, Safer, Families Hubs Program – a culturally safe, whole-of-family healing and recovery program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families impacted by domestic, family and sexual violence.
The Women’s Practitioner plays a key role in providing intensive, therapeutic and culturally grounded case management support to Aboriginal women in the program. Working in partnership with the family, the practitioner offers advocacy, cultural support, risk assessment, safety planning, and healing-focused interventions to empower women and strengthen family functioning. Full Time (1 FTE) and 12 Months Contract.
Kornar Winmil Yunti Aboriginal Corporation (KWY) is seeking passionate and culturally aware Facilitators to deliver foundational English language, literacy, numeracy, and digital literacy (LLND) training to First Nations participants in metropolitan Adelaide. This role is part of the federally funded SEE First Nations Delivery Grant initiative aimed at removing barriers to education and supporting Closing the Gap outcomes. 2 years contract. 2 positions available.
Working under the guidance of a Linker, Peer Workers provide practical, emotional and social support to clients by listening, and offering their knowledge and experiences where appropriate to the client’s situation and needs. This might include accompanying a client for the first time attending a service or community event, advocating alongside a client, being with a client as they make calls, and researching and assisting clients to find services and other supports.
Peer Workers collaborate closely with the Linker, the Line Manager and The Linker Network to deliver supports that engage with clients and connect them to the resources and supports that meet their priorities and goals.
The Supporting Adolescent Boys Trial is a national early intervention trial for young men and adolescent boys aged 12-18 years who present with adverse childhood experiences including family and domestic violence and who are using or at risk of using family, domestic or sexual violence (FDSV).
The successful applicant will possess skills, experience, and knowledge in working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to address Child Protection and Domestic and Family Violence concerns. The applicant will operate within a therapeutic, trauma-informed framework. The applicant would have demonstrated knowledge of case management and working with Aboriginal families.

You will identify and pursue business development opportunities, including grants, tenders, bids, and formal partnerships, while providing strategic leadership, technical advice, and ensuring the highest standards of service provision across KWY.
This role requires a dynamic leader with experience in research, strategy development, analysis, service modelling, implementation and monitoring and evaluation. You will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement effective strategies and solutions that contribute to KWY’s growth and impact.
