What we offer

KWY provide a reunification service for families who have children in the care of the department for Child Protection. You will have support to navigate the child protection system including the Reunification Courts of SA. We assist parents to address the child protection concerns raised by DCP. KWY and support services offer programs that develop your protective and parenting capacity to keep the children safe as per DCP guidelines and directives. Some of the services are specific to the concerns raised by DCP, this might include counselling, therapy, and practical supports.  We use cultural values, belief structures, and support networks to help you achieve reunification with your children.

Parents that demonstrated significant change capacity to keep their children safe significant and sustained change that reunification of the child back into their care is a viable option.

 

Eligibility

This program is only for children who are in the care of DCP. Only DCP can refer families to the reunification program.

Start a conversation with your DCP Case Manager. IF they assess reunification as a viable option, they contact KWY for a case consultation.
